Our Privacy Policy is incorporated as part of PEP APP’s Terms of Use. Please read this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use carefully before using our Services. By using the Services, you agree to the provisions of this Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to all the registered users of the PEPAPP.
1.1 General Matters
The Accuracy and Confidentiality of Your Account Information Is Your Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy and accuracy of your password, email address, and other account information at all times. We recommend a strong password that you do not use with other services. We are not responsible for personal data transmitted to a third party.
1.2 Sale/Merger
Information about our Users and PEPAPP is a business asset of PEP Consequently, User Information, on an aggregated basis, may be disclosed as part of any merger or acquisition, creation of a separate business to provide PEPAPP, our Services as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which personal information would be transferred as one of the business assets of the company.
1.3 Why we collect User Information
To provide our Services, we use the information we collect to make the information sharing platform provided by the PEPAPP more efficient in meeting your professional needs. Our goal in this policy is to be completely transparent about the data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it, in order to make finding jobs and interacting with other photographers a pleasant, fun & safe experience.

Things that you and other Users do and provide.

We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Services, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content that you provide (e.g. metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. Our systems automatically process content and communications that you and others provide to analyse context and what's in them for the purposes described below.
Networks and connections. We collect information about your profile information, photos and material that you upload, across our Services. We also collect contact information if you choose to upload, sync or import it from a device.
Your usage. We collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content that you view or engage with, the features you use, the actions you take, the people or accounts you interact with and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you're using and have last used our Services, and what posts, videos and other content you view on our Services.
Information about transactions made on our Services. If you use our Services for purchases or other financial transactions (such as when you make a purchase of a Product or avail of a course module), we collect information about the purchase or transaction. This includes payment information, such as method of payment, other account and authentication information, and billing, shipping and contact details.
Things others do and information that they provide about you. We also receive and analyse content, communications and information that other people provide when they use our Services. This can include information about you, such as when others share or comment on a photo of / uploaded by you.
Device information. As described below, we collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Services, and we combine this information across different devices that you use. For example, we use information collected about your use of on a different device.

Device attributes: information such as the operating system, hardware and software versions, battery level, signal strength, available storage space, browser type, app and file names and types, and plugins.
Identifiers: unique identifiers and other identifiers, IDs
Device signals: Bluetooth signals, information about nearby Wi-Fi access points, beacons and mobile phone masts.
Data from device settings: information that you allow us to receive through device settings that you turn on, such as access to your GPS location, camera or photos.

Promote safety, integrity and security: We use the information that we have to verify accounts and activity, combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences, maintain the integrity of our Services. 1.6.1 Sharing on Services
When you share and communicate using our Services, you choose the audience for what you share. For example, when you post on PEPAPP, some part of the information such as your social media usernames and display pictures may be accessed by public while other information like the material you upload in PEPAPP can only be viewed by other users. Public Information can be seen by anyone, on or off our Services including if they don't have an account. This includes your username, display picture, social media usernames. Public information can also be seen, accessed, reshared or downloaded through third-party services such as search engines, APIs and offline media such as TV, and by apps, websites and other services that integrate with our Services.
1.6.2 New owner: If the ownership or control of all or part of our Services or their assets changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.
1.6.3 Sharing with third-party partners: We work with third-party partners who help us provide and improve our Services, which makes it possible to operate our companies and provide free services to people around the world. We don't sell any of your information to anyone and we never will. We use the services of the following vendors to bring our Services to you. Your information is shared with these partners solely for the purpose of providing our Services to you.

Mailchimp and Mailgun are used to send emails to the USERS to notify them of Events, activities and to track correspondence, ensure delivery of information and facilitate communication with Users. SMSgupshup.com to send SMS to Users as may be required, particularly with respect to Events. Their privacy policy is accessible at https://www.gupshup.io/developer/privacy.
Razorpay and Instamojo for processing payments made on PEPAPP. Their privacy policy is accessible at https://razorpay.com/privacy/ and https://www.instamojo.com/privacy/.
We provide a limited amount of personal information to voucherify.io, such as email address and coupon code usage information to track and utility coupon code based discounts on the site.
1.6.4 Advertisers.
We may provide advertisers with reports about the kinds of people seeing their ads and how their ads are performing, but we don't share information that personally identifies you (information such as your name or email address that by itself can be used to contact you or identifies who you are) unless you give us permission. For example, we may provide general demographic and interest information to advertisers (for example, that an ad was seen by a woman between the ages of 22 and 32 who lives in Merut and likes software engineering) to help them better understand their audience.
1.6.5 Partners offering goods and services in our Services
When you subscribe to receive premium content, or buy something from a seller in our Services, the content creator or seller can receive your public information and other information that you share with them, as well as the information needed to complete the transaction, including shipping and contact details.
1.6.6 Vendors and service providers.
We provide information and content to vendors and service providers who support our business, such as by providing technical infrastructure services, analysing how our Services are used, providing customer service, facilitating payments or conducting surveys.
1.6.6 Law enforcement or legal requests.
We may share information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests as may required by laws of India.
1.7 How do the PEP and Stories Motion Private Limited (SMPL)work together?
PEP and SMPL share infrastructure, systems and technology) to provide an innovative, relevant, consistent and safe experience for the Users.

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services or until your account is deleted – whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things such as the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. 1.9 How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?
We access, preserve and share your information with regulators, law enforcement or others:
In response to a legal request (e.g. a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good-faith belief that the applicable law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of India when we have a good-faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction and is consistent with internationally recognised standards.
When we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorised use of the Services , violations of our Terms or Policies, or other harmful or illegal activity; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Services), you or others, including as part of investigations or regulatory enquiries; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. For example, if relevant, we exchange information with third-party partners about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on and off our Services.
Information that we receive about you (including financial transaction data related to purchases made with the PEPAPP) can be accessed and preserved for an extended period when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation or investigations of possible violations of our Terms or Policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. We also retain information from accounts disabled for term violations for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other term violations.
1.10 How do we operate and transfer data as part of our global services?
We share information globally with our service partners that may not be located in India Your information may, for example, be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States or other countries outside where our service providers are based. These data transfers are necessary to provide the Services. We utilise standard contract clauses, rely on the representations made by the service providers with respect to their data privacy policies and procedures.

2. COOKIES POLICY
About cookies

Our service providers use cookies and those cookies may be stored on your device when you visit PEPAPP.
